This incredible quilt created in 1848 is steeped in history and has connections to Gettysburg and the Civil War. The pattern was created from the original quilt by Brenda Papadakis who has given Dena Rosenberg permission to teach this wonderful quilt. Students will have the choice to make the entire quilt or just the center in this class. The center of this quilt could stand on its own with just a simple binding around it with the finished size being 38” x 48”. Borders can be added to make it larger. Needle turn will be the technique taught, however, students can choose to create this quilt using prepared edge if they prefer. Supply List
